TERMS OF USE FOR ORIGIN ACADEMY

AGREEMENT TO TERMS

By creating an account, enrolling in a course, or accessing any materials on Origin Academy, you (the “Student”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately cease all use of the platform and its services.

ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Any activity occurring under your account is your sole responsibility.
You must notify Origin Academy immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND USE OF CONTENT

Copyright Ownership: All materials, including but not limited to video lectures, Machine Learning codebases, datasets, PDF notes, and graphics, are the exclusive property of Origin Academy.
Limited License: Students are granted a single-user, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access the content for personal educational purposes only.
Prohibited Actions: You are strictly prohibited from:
- Recording, screen-capturing, or downloading video content.
- Sharing account login details with any third party.
- Using our code snippets or datasets for commercial products without written permission.
- Distributing course materials on telegram, torrent sites, or public repositories.
Watermarking: Content may be digitally watermarked to track the source of any unauthorized distribution.

PAYMENT, FEES, AND TAXES

Payment Terms: Access to paid courses is granted only upon receipt of the full payment.
Pricing Changes: Origin Academy reserves the right to modify course fees at any time. Changes will not affect students already enrolled in a course.
Taxes: All fees are inclusive or exclusive of taxes based on the prevailing laws at the time of purchase.

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Refund Window: Refunds may be requested within 7 days of the purchase date.
Eligibility for Refund: A refund will only be processed if the student has consumed less than 15% of the total course content.
Non-Refundable: Fees for workshops, fast-track modules, or digital downloads are strictly non-refundable.

CODE OF CONDUCT AND ACADEMIC INTEGRITY

Professionalism: Students must maintain a professional and respectful tone in all discussion forums, chat groups, and live sessions.
Zero Tolerance for Harassment: Any form of cyberbullying, hate speech, or harassment toward instructors or fellow students will result in an immediate ban.
Plagiarism: Submitting code or assignments that are not your own work (without proper attribution) is considered academic dishonesty.
System Integrity: You agree not to use any automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract data from the platform.

NO GUARANTEE OF OUTCOMES

Educational Purpose: Origin Academy provides educational tools and knowledge. We do not guarantee employment, salary increases, or specific career placements.
Technical Accuracy: While we strive for precision in our Machine Learning and AI modules, we do not warrant that the content is error-free or suitable for every specific real-world application.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Origin Academy and its instructors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.
We are not responsible for any technical issues arising from the student’s internet connection, hardware, or third-party software.

TERMINATION OF ACCESS

Breach of Terms: Origin Academy reserves the right to terminate your access to the platform without notice if you violate any part of these terms, specifically regarding Intellectual Property theft or Code of Conduct violations.
No Refund on Termination: If your account is terminated for a breach of contract, you will not be entitled to any refund for remaining course access.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE

Origin Academy reserves the right to update, modify, or discontinue any course or feature at its sole discretion to keep the curriculum current with industry standards.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the region of the Academy’s registered office.
